Do women have better hearing than men, or have men just mastered the skill of simply ignoring the sounds of crying children? I wondered this at 5am when Sophie was crying and Chris was snoring. To his defense, he did wake up slightly when I brough Soph into the room to change her diaper and play with her- but overall, he yawned, rolled-over, and lapsed back into the wonderful coma we know as sleep.
After zero success at convincing her to go back to sleep, Sophie and I went down to watch some TV. Before I knew it, it was 6:15am and Sarah was making her way downstairs. The two of them have so much energy, and all I can do is yawn. I am hoping Chris gets up soon so I can crawl back to bed for a quick nap before he heads to the gym and then we as a family head to the Curch's for the BBQ.

Oh, honey I feel your pain. Chad NEVER has heard either child when they wake up at night. Then he has the never to ask why I look so tired in the mornings!!!!
Hope all is well & I am so sorry about Sophie's little arm. I hope she is doing better.
